"No Lamp is Lit for Its Own Benefit."

So I read through my last group email today and realized I went from first to third. Oops, 9 months is takin' a toll. 

TBH this was probably one of the craziest weeks of my mission so far. We did an exchange, had MLC, gave a training at a stake mission correlation meeting, and had zone conference where we trained and I had to sing. The Lord knew I was getting too comfortable so He threw me right into the fire, hahah. No growth in the comfort zone, no comfort in the growth zone. Yay for growth amiright?? It was sweet though. I for sure learned a ton. One thing that stood out to me was when someone said, "No lamp is lit for its own benefit." Our testimonies, talents and love for the Lord aren't for our benefit, they are to be shared so that other people can see the Savior more clearly! Glad I get to be that light for other people as a missionary (and as a member when I get home cuz member every member a missionary, amiright?).

Our friends that we are teaching are doing good! We found a couple of new people to teach and we saw Bill at Walmart today! GOOD NEWS! He still wants to be baptized! The church is still true in the frozen food aisle. I don't think there are any other updates for this week but I love y'all and I'm SO sorry my emails are getting so lame. I blame revelation haha.
